Allegri agent: ‘How could Juventus not be satisfied?’

Giovanni Branchini, the agent of Massimiliano Allegri, suggested that the tactician will remain in charge of Juventus, but admitted ‘anything can happen with these owners’.

The 56-year-old Italian coach is over two and a half years into his second spell in the Bianconeri dugout, but the context of these two periods are entirely different; in the first, he won trophy after trophy in Turin, but in the second he’s had to contend with endless off-pitch concerns.

Despite the difficulties and periods of criticisms, Allegri has managed to show a number of positives with Juventus over the last two and a half years, carefully navigating their various issues and promoting countless youth players to the first team, like Fabio Miretti and Samuel Iling-Junior.

In his press conference ahead of the clash with Napoli, the Juventus coach was asked about his future in Turin and he made it clear that no decision would be made until the end of the season.

Speaking to Radio Deejay via Calciomercato.com, Allegri’s agent Branchini was asked if the coach would stay at Juventus for next season.

“I think so yes. It’s always possible (dismissal, ed.), we’ll see what Juventus’ ideas will be, but anything can happen with these owners.

“He has a contract and has demonstrated his connection with the club. Usually you change a coach when you’re not satisfied with him. I want to see how they could not be satisfied.”
